Marte Meo Training 2023
Marte Meo means "on one's own strength" and is a method developed by Maria Aarts in Holland more than forty years ago, used in 43 countries
across the world.
Marte Meo is a strengths-based approach to supporting the parent-infant/ toddler relationship by making the most of everyday interactions.
It's a very practical way of strengthening relationships and supporting child development. The training will introduce the basic concepts of
following and leading with the use of videos in the introductory workshop on February 13th. A recording will be made
available for anyone unable to attend the workshop live.
Practitioner-Level training begins March 27th and is run over six days in two-day blocks. The training is experiential, using
lots of video material to hone your observational skills through interactional video analysis. At the completion of the training, you will
receive a certificate of international accreditation. Places are limited (max. 10).
These trainings will be presented by Lauren Keegan. Lauren is a registered psychologist with 12+ years of experience in perinatal and infant
mental health. She is an accredited Marte Meo Therapist and Trainer.
